Albian-Prussian War

The Albian-Prussian War (1889-1891) was fought between Albion and Prussia. Today, travel is possible between the two countries, but relations are tense.

History

Albion, though economically booming, is still recovering socially from the end of its war with Prussia only a few years ago. The war itself was largely fought over the channel between Albion and Normandy, so there is little visible destruction in the country itself.

The war was instigated by Prussia, who had been having diplomatic trouble with Albion and was suffering for lack of imported Cores. The war was a Prussian attempt to gain control of the technique used to produce Cores, which is closely guarded by Albion's Myrddin Temple. Albian forces were eventually victorious, the tides turning after an Albian soldier, Octavius Latimer, led the HMAS Heron to explode amongst the Prussian Airsheep Fleet.
